Welcome to Shores Kids! We are so excited you chose to worship with us as a family. Children are a gift from the Lord (Psalm 127). We want your child to experience God’s love the moment he or she arrives. Here are a few things to make your experience the best.
Check-in. Our children’s ministry environments open up at 9:15am and 11am each Sunday morning. When you arrive, please check-in at our information area by completing an enrollment form. If you are a first-time guest, you can expedite your enrollment by downloading the registration form and bringing a completed copy with you.
Security. All of our volunteers are carefully screened by a professional background check, and nobody is allowed to serve alone with a child. For the protection of the child, we also utilize a check-in system that numbers your child and requires parents to provide the receipt with a matching number to release the child from our ministry environment. Should your child require your attention while in our care, we will text you. Please keep your cell phone on vibrate during the worship service.
Wellness. We practice the Golden Rule and ask that you only bring well children to participate in a Shores Kids ministry experience. No kids with fever, vomiting, diarrhea, runny nose, coughing, rashes, skin or eye infections, or childhood diseases like chicken pox, mumps, measles, etc. Teachers will not accept a child with any of these symptoms into the ministry environment.
COVID-19 Precautions. The following precautions have been added to our wellness expectations and practices. If you, your child, or anyone else in your household have had any of the following symptoms or conditions this week, please worship with us online.
- Compromised immune system
- Fever over 100 degrees
- Cough or sore throat
- Shortness of breath
- Contact with anyone (in the past 14 days) confirmed to have COVID-19
