Are you a 5G Christian? The word "GO" captures how we fulfill the Great Commission, starting in our own city. This fall, GoVB is all about putting our faith into action by serving the needs of others. 

September GoVB 

Join us in partnering with Union Mission of Norfolk to fill duffel bags of necessities for the homeless, including towels, sheets, blankets, toiletries, and other personal care items. We’re doing this through life groups. So, get with your life group leader to learn more. We will assemble and deliver the duffel bags in November.

 

October GoVB

 

Hallelujah Harvest, the Virginia Beach fall favorite, happens October 29 from 4pm to 6pm. We need tons of candy to serve the thousands of kids and families who attend from our city and community. During October, bring your donated candy to the candy corralls in the church lobby. 

 

November GoVB

 

Help us stock our food pantry in time for Thanksgiving so that we can serve as many food insecure families as possible. Bring non-perishable food items to  the church lobby on Sunday morning, or to the life center on Wednesdays between the hours of 9:00am and 11:00am. 

 

This is also the month when we will assemble the duffel bags of necessities donated for the homeless and deliver them to Union Mission of Norfolk. Stay tuned for an opportunity to participate.
