Spring at Shores
The days are longer and the sun is shining, which means it is time for Spring at Shores (March to May). This exciting time includes many new opportunities to grow in your relationship with God. Take full advantage of all the ministry we are delivering this spring for you and your family.
Easter at Shores
Easter at Atlantic Shores Baptist Church is a time to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Join Dr. Ron Jones and the worship team for one of three worship gatherings to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ at 8am, 9:15am, or 11am in the auditorium.
Paul: Surprised by Grace
Gritty and graceful, Paul was a changed man whom God used to change the world. At great personal cost, Paul, also Saul of Tarsus, boldly testified to the resurrection of Jesus Christ wherever he traveled, carrying the gospel message to the ends of the earth until the Roman emperor, Nero, martyred him in Rome. Focusing on Acts 13-28, Dr. Ron Jones invites us to travel with the Apostle Paul on his missionary journeys, leaving us surprised by God’s grace. Starts March 12.
Our mission at Atlantic Shores Baptist Church is to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ who go and make disciples. We take this Great Commission mission (Matthew 28:19-20) seriously and make disciples intentionally. Check out the spring discipleship studies where we help you become a fully devoted follower of Jesus. Life Groups is another environment where we make disciples.
Wednesday Nights (6:30pm to 7:45pm) returns at Atlantic Shores this spring with a full line up of on campus discipleship studies for kids, students, and adults. Check out all of the studies and register here.
Preschool and grade school kids gather every Sunday morning at 9:15am in the Life Center. Enjoy fun, games, worship, and breakout time for small groups. There's plenty of things happening this Spring, including Skate Night, Hoptastic, and a Family Day at Historic Greenbrier Farms.
Sunday Night for Students
Middle and high school age students gather every Sunday night during the school year from 6pm to 8pm in the Life Center. Enjoy fun, games, worship, and a sermon-based lesson from our Student Pastor, Travis Bryant. Then, we break into age and gender-specific groups for discussion and prayer. This is a great time of discipleship for grades 6-12. Students also gather for an apologetics-based study on Wednesday Nights from 6:30 to 7:45pm.
her Bible Studies
Throughout the spring, her Bible Studies will happen online and in-person as smaller intergenerational gatherings for women in a way that reflects the spirit of Titus 2:3-5 where “older women … are to teach what is good, and so train the young women.”
