AWANA Clubs

For over six decades, the Lord has used the ministry of AWANA to reach kids, equip leaders, and change the world. Atlantic Shores Baptist Church is pleased to partner with AWANA by offering this discipleship experience as part of our overall Family Ministries. Wednesdays at AWANA will be your child's favorite night of the week as he or she enjoys exciting worship, games, stories, and Bible memorization. 

Discipleship Studies

Our mission at Atlantic Shores Baptist Church is to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ who go and make disciples. We take this Great Commission mission (Matthew 28:19-20) seriously and make disciples intentionally. Sabbatical

With the approval of the elder body, Pastor Ron will be on sabbatical August 7 to September 30, 2023. His plan is to return to the pulpit on Sunday, October 1, 2023, to begin his ninth year as Lead Pastor of Atlantic Shores Baptist Church. During Pastor Ron's sabbatical, guest speakers will fill the pulpit each week, chosen for their integrity of heart and skillfullness in preaching God's word. You won't want to miss a single week at Atlantic Shores!

Lay Counseling Ministry

Atlantic Shores Baptist Church is planning to launch a lay counseling ministry in the summer/fall of 2024. The purpose of the lay counseling ministry is to care for our church family and reach our community through the ministry of Christian/biblical counseling. Lay counseling is not mentoring or discipleship training. Learn more and let us know if you're interested in becoming a lay counselor.  

Life Group Picnics

An old-fashioned church picnic (pot-luck style) is coming to a city park near you, sponsored by the life groups in your geographic area. Four life group picnics are happening during the months of April through September. Enjoy sunshine, good food, fellowship, and family games. Media Production Ministry Opportunities

One of our fastest growing ministry teams is Media Production. Opportunities to serve behind the camera include camera operators, lighting engineers, lyric soperators, audio engineers, video producers, stagehands, and more. And yes, training is available.
