Welcome to Atlantic Shores Baptist Church! We're so glad you found us. We've been planning for your arrival at one of our three Sunday morning worship gatherings, and hope you meet friendly people that make you feel comfortable. Because it can be intimidating to visit a church for the first time, we've tried to anticipate some of your questions.

Where is Atlantic Shores Baptist Church located?

Atlantic Shores Baptist Church is located at the corner of Kempsville Road and Centerville Turnpike in Virginia Beach. Our physical address is 1861 Kempsville Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23464

When are your worship services?

We offer three Sunday morning worship gatherings:

8am Classic Worship. This gathering in our Fellowship Hall is the perfect place for those that enjoy traditional hymns and/or need an alternative time for worship. Our lead pastor, Dr. Ron Jones, delivers the message.

9:15am and 11am Worship. This gathering in the Worship Center is God-centered and participative, drawing from a rich heritage of songs, hymns, and spiritual songs, including many that are new to the body of Christ. Band-driven music is supported by a modern choir. Our lead pastor, Dr. Ron Jones, delivers the message.

On the Sundays around Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and New Year's Day, we offer two worship gatherings in the Worship Center at 9:15 and 11am. On campus Life Groups do not gather on those Sundays. It's always a great idea to check the website on those holiday weekends.

Where should I park?

There is ample parking available on our campus.

What about my elementary age children or younger?

Children are always welcome in our worship gatherings, and we encourage family worship. However, we have also created a worship experience just for kids that happens simultaneous to our main worship gatherings. Learn more about Shores Kids.

What about my middle and high school age children?

Our student ministry gathers in grade specific small groups at 6pm on Sundays in the Life Center. We encourage middle school and high school age students to join us in the worship service at 11 AM with their family or friends. Learn more about Shores Students.

Do I have to dress up?

No dress code! We welcome everything from blue jeans and t-shirts to suits and ties, and everything in between. Come dressed comfortably.

I still have a question.

Please dont hesitate to Contact Us if you have other questions before your visit.
